
Jasmine Mitchell won the latest series of C4's The Great British Bake Off. Born and raised in Edinburgh, she is now studying medicine in London, training to become a doctor. She grew up learning to bake alongside her family, creating food for large family gatherings in the Scottish Highlands.
Jasmine brought a calm, methodical approach to the baking tent, earning five 'Star Baker' titles and multiple handshakes from Paul Hollywood.
What sets Jasmine apart is her originality. Not only did she showcase an unbeatable set of skills, flavours and designs, she also brought personal authenticity to the competition, openly sharing her journey with alopecia and choosing to bake without a wig, a powerful statement of confidence that drew a huge response from the viewers.
Since winning the Great British Bake OffJasmine has appeared on multiple TV & radio shows, national newspapers and has spoken at high-profile events including one of the UK Prime Minister’s receptions. She is passionate about bringing people together around the table to share food, build community, and reconnect.
When she’s not completing her medical training, Jasmine enjoys wild swimming and long-distance running. She is developing cookbooks and dining partnerships and expanding her broadcast career.
